Have you installed GSam battery monitor to try and work out which app is causing issues? Have you tired a hard reset and then not installing any Apps? If so ,did you still experience the battery drain?

When a phone gets a new update it can cause all sorts of issues
and we no it shouldn't
Now when Manufactures/Networks test this it not done in the real world and there only tested with app that are pre loaded
Now App developers can also add to this and not update there apps until after the update rolls out
facebook is one of these but its not there fault as many problems don't happen until after
so to figure this out and part of what we the users have come up with is to eliminate the third party issue is a factory wipe, and its the first thing Engineers do
Now after a F/wipe its still doing this then the finger points to other stuff
Eg what Networks put on or apps running that you don't need
Because of this we on here found out that Yahoo News is a Drain and some of the Vodafone apps are
also Active sync can be a issue if the phone is trying to sync eg pictures or data
So figuring this out can take some doing
Now even after a major update and a F/reset it can take a couple of days to settle down
it may help to put a screen shot of what apps are running

I lose 1% for every minute of screen on time. I've also done a factory reset and android system and android os are the main causes aparantly. Gsam also says android kernal

Did you do a factory reset after the update? Bits of the old OS can get left behind and confuse the system, resulting on over-activity and battery drain. Don't forget to back up your content first.
