dropped my samsung edge6 in the toilet

can anyone help dropped my galaxy s6 edge in the toilet grabbed it out straight away what can i do help

Turn it off. Pat off the excess water with a towel and shove it in a bag of rice for a few days. Hopefully that will dry it out.

It maybe an idea to eject the SIM card tray to allow any excess water to drain and allow it to dry.

@nicnic You can also put the phone in crystal cat litter or silica gel packs which are both more absorbent than rice.

That's unfortunate!

The information given by other members of the forum is spot on. 

Turn it off, eject the SIM and battery and let the device air dry in rice or an alternative. 

Is everything ok with the device?
