iPhone 7 Delivery delayed yet there is stock in store! Why??

I placed my iPhone 7 matt 128GB order on 25th Sept...still no joy. I went into a Voda store in Kingston on Sat and they have the exact model available...this is outrageous!!! I want my phone!! Why do I have to continue waiting?

Unfortunately the stock in the store is from a different pool of stock so they can't release it to your online order. 

Also at present Vodafone systems won't let you cancel the order. It has to be delivered and refused. The only way to cancel is within the first approximately hour of placing the order.

That's utter nonsense and what I would say in their position. The truth is it's just an excuse to allow Voda to capture as many orders as possible.

It is their policies and their issues and they should facilitate stock to customers awaiting fulfillment.
