is there a way to keep my number on a new sim

i got 2 vodafone sims ones old and ones new is there a way to keep my old numbers as i cant get to the store that often and want to do it asap   thank you

Yes, but as a PAYG customer I belive that this has to be done in store.

If you aren't able to get to a store, you can call CS (191) and ask to be sent a blank replacement SIM. If you can put your old SIM into a phone on which it will receive texts, then, as I understand it, you should then be able to use this form to swap your original number onto the new SIM.

 

If you can't receive texts sent to the original number, then you will need to call CS again once you have the blank SIM, so that they can effect the swap.

 

If your "old" SIM is old in the sense that it has been disconnected because it hasn't been used for an extended period, then I'm afraid the number will almost certainly be gone beyond recall, but CS should be able to advise on this.
