Hi @Fastpitchxlife

What an awful experience leaving you distressed.

Wether a person is speaking to a UK Agent or Over Seas Agent they are required to remain professional and polite at all times. Thats the same for customers speaking to them too.

You are correct not to post any recording as a person is fine to record a conversation to use as support directly with the Business involved but are not allowed to supply it elsewhere. This is an open public forum so it wouldnt be correct to post it here.

Please let the Social Media Team here who read all posts catch up with your post and I'm sure that they will help you with this situation by feeding this back.

Is there anything we can help in regards to any problems that instigated you to be contacting Customer Services  ?

thank you very much but no, i was telling vodaphone that i had to have internet put into my home just to have their home signal box working to get a signal and its costing me £42 a month extra on top of my bill

I assume you've had to start using a Sure Signal device that creates a 3g signal in the home that works off Home Broadband WiFi.

So unfortunatley Yes if your Vodafone Signal is poor then an extra cost charged by a Broadband Provider to have home broadband for the Sure Signal to connect to would be present.

As long as Vodafone are providing signal somewhere and not always specifically in one place like a home address then they are fulfilling their obligations.

Hi @Fastpitchxlife

Lets see if it is possible to sort this out for you, stop you feeling so upset and find the reason for Vodafone charging an extra £42 a month on top of your bill.  If you are using your home broadband connection with a Sure Signal device, you shouldn't be paying a hefty extra charge to Vodafone.

The best thing to do is to reply to the PM by following the instructions and sending a secure email, this will give the Team access to your account and they will be in a position to reply to you find the reason for the charges and see what can be done to give you support and help.

The Team here are very good and by coming to the forum, you have found the right place and the creme de la creme of Vodafone Customer Services.

Please come back to the forum when you have received a reply from the Team.

In the meantime, have a lovely Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

Hi @Fastpitchxlife

Did you actually let the advisor know and ask permission to record the call?  If you didn't it is illegal to use any recording.

It would help the Team here and give them something to go on if you posted your initial reason for wanting to contact Vodafone.

When you called back, notes would have been placed on your account by the first advisor  to provide support for future contact.
