Hi is anybody else having ro restart there device a couple times a day due to message app crashing, am running lollipop 5.0, my wife is stil using 4.4.4 and has no issues?

Hi, did you perform a factory reset after the update, I know there have been some problems with Samsung phones following the update and a reset often helps.

I haven't done one no but what will I lose if I reset messages etc?

You would need to ensure you have everything backed up that you want to keep. Make sure photos etc are either on an external SD card or cloud service. Emails should be OK, if you want save text messages there are apps that can do that for you.

Contacts and apps etc should be backed up to google already.

Look at the forum countless other people have the same issue,there is an update but vf in there wisdom have chosen not to roll it out whilst other operators have
