Now another problem only mentioned this evening by my son but a common topic s3 mini battery life.
he uses wifi at home and rarely uses mobile data (he gets 250mb a month which he uses it when away from a wifi spot) unless he has to and he's very savvy to turning things off to not drain the battery.
He's been nagging the battery is poor, (he is aware that draining to empty is bad for the battery - he learnt that with his nokia 6700 slide)
I know he turns things off when not using them (wifi, mobile data location ect - with exception to 3g/2g we barely get 2g here so that's not worth changing) He also uses the battery saver tools built into the device.
I'll check use when I see him tomorrow but is there any fixes to this without him modifying his usage habits any more or buying a big mugen battery?
TIA

Hi there
It may be an idea to download a battery monitoring app such as GSam and run that for a couple of days to work out what is actually using up the battery on the device. It could be a particular service that is suddenly playing up that needs to be stopped.

hiya,
I'll ask my son to install this to see what's going on. From what I remember seeing there was no considerable cause for concern in system last week but I'll that for now, I hope it's something silly rather than a larger issue like mentioned on other posts.
thanks Drey
