i received my new Galaxy s6 some few days ago. Everything is in fine working order. I transferred some of my music albums over to it and it was all working fine. Yesterday I went to gym, opened up my Play music and it will only display my purchased albums now. I can still play my tracks but only when I go to 'my files'. does anyone know why this is please. Also on my apps display, I go to Music symbol and they have all vanished from there aswell

What happens when you try to put music widget on main screen? Does music come back?

Hi @jammieg80

How did you pop your music over to the phone?

I'd recommend synchronising with Kies to see if that helps update your files.

If there's new software available, you'll be prompted to download any updates too.

Thanks,

Ben

The Samsung music player uses the track/album meta data to read the files information. If this is music you have ripped or downloaded yourself the meta data could be missing or corrupt?

Is your music in the Music folder of your phone? That is the default location that the player will look for music tracks.

Free software such as "EasyTag" for windows Linux and Mac

can edit the meta data.
