Hey I want to pre order the sg7 edge for the start of march but my upgrade date is March the 17th so if I pre order it would I have to pay extra but if i dont would it be difficult trying to get the phonr should I pay the extra price or just wait

Hi, yes you would probably have to pay the early termination fee, best advice would be to phone and ask.

Rumours are that its set to be a great phone. 

Handset delays may may play a part. 

Personally I prefer to wait until a phone has been released and it's been reviewed on YouTube etc and in the shops to play with.

My upgrade was due in July, but the guy I spoke to said he can extend my contract so that it runs from March 2016 to July 2018. Effectively I took out a new contract and added my remaining months onto this contract making it a 28 month contract, but now I get the S7 now and also get the VR headset. It's a no brainer for me because my contract would have ended in July 2018 even if I had waited, and my contract price is virtually the same now as it was. The only difference is I get the phone earlier.

Same here. My contract ends June 15th, but upgraded with an S7 pre-order and stuck the extra month on the end.
