Are the new Vodafone Fiber plans symmetrical? Meaning if you get a 1 Gbps plan, does it also do 1 Gbps uplink (upload) or is it limited to ~250 Mbps?
I’ve been with Ooredoo for over 20 years now and the reason I stayed with them despite Vodafone begging us to move was beIN being included and Vodafone not costing much less that it would cost me more to switch to them and get beIN separately.
Their new plans though would make me pay 50 QAR more a month to get beIN separately but I would also get 1 Gbps down which will be a big deal if the uplink is also 1 Gbps.

I take it you're in Qatar then? Unfortunately you're asking on the Vodafone UK forum - we can't answer your question.

Hi
I have the Ultrahub the speed is supposed to be 910 Mbps it’s the Pro version with 2 boosters. It sort of works, speed all over the place latency far too high , for weeks suffered with the Utrahub keep rebooting at random times, this has now been fixed but, still got the erratic speed. Tech support somewhere between hopeless and useless,
Carried out my own investigation, the fault seems to lie in the Ultrahud, the hub answers every ARP query with it’s own MAC address, this causes equipment to drop off line and duplicate ip addresses. Has you cam image all the equipment on the subnet is effected, it gives the appearance of a bad connection.
For some reason it effects my Sky Q box and mini Q boxes quite badly ?
If you run something like Angryip on a p.c. It list most of the ip having the MAC address of the Ultrahub router, removed the network protection nothing chances, try different p.cs. running different versions of Windows no chances.
Tried to explain to Vodafone technical, that was a waste of time, official complaint still no progress.
Trying to get out of contract without exit fee..
Anu ideas.
