Hi.
Switched off PS5 before holiday. Worked fine on LAN. Came back, switched on and it's saying it can't connect as the router or VF are blocking the connection.
Everything else works fine, laptop connection a bit funny but it gets there. Messed with PS5 settings to no avail, convinced now it's the router or it's settings as it seems to be a common problem with no posts of the solution.
Had a look in the router admin menus and I can see it's not happy with some device addresses but can't see the LAN one in there and don't really know what I'm doing anyway.
Broadband app isn't working either, security is stupidly tight on it and I can never get into it.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Nick

Hi,
I think we are on the same boat, I'm playing my ps5 on yesterday starting at 3pm it works perfectly fine until around 5pm it lost connection, the first thing I thought was the WiFi signal maybe too weak so I tried to connect wired unfortunately the error doesn't gone away, it keep showing "Can't connect to the internet. Your internet service provider or your router might be preventing your PS5 from connecting to the internet. Make sure you can connect to the internet via the same network as your PS5 by testing the connection using your computer or mobile device".
After that I tried connect my ps5 to mobile hotspot and the results are the same (my mobile provider also is Vodafone) so I checked the ps app on my phone it can't connect to ps server, in mean while all my other devices including my mobile are working perfectly to the internet except to PS network, therefore I use my gf mobile phone (EE provider) to share wifi to my ps5 this time is work, there's a problem on Vodafone blocking my ps5 to the network and I have checked my ps5 work perfectly also the hub work perfectly because it can provide IP to my ps5 but block it to ps server 😔😔
Hope I didn't missed anything, and fingers crossed someone will tell me what should I do, I tried to call Vodafone they keep saying their network is working fine and ask me to contact Play station, it's really frustrating facing this issue 😞

@Nickso I found out the solution, I found out that the new update on the WiFi hub can't provide ipv6 to ps5 then I go to factory reset the WiFi hub and wait it about 5 to 10 minutes and then try to connect my ps5 to it this time work perfectly

Interesting. I assume after you did that you had to connect everything back to the router?
I am wary of resetting the router as I can't get into the app and the only password I have is for the router admin. If I needed passwords etc I'd have nothing then.

Hi Nick,
Did you change any settings or password before? If no after reset it will not change anything.
