Is there a time lag from Installation of Gigafast Broadband to activation of Internet phone. Now 4 working days and phone not working. Phone says line cord error.

How have you connected the phone to the Vodafone router. Some posters on here say it doesn't work with a direct cable, but does it you use the BT socket to rj11 adapter.

I read all the posts and sent for the recommended adaptor my phone had the BT plug on it so it was essential. I tried the online help and it said there could be a time delay in phone coming on line but failed to give a time frame.

There really is no reason for a delay so give the gigafast team a ring. Hopefully you have been given a number to contact for problems. If not try 08080 034 515 hopefully they will be able to help, or at least connect you to the correct team.

Turns out it hadn't been switched on from Vodafone end, all sorted now.
