As the title says, I am getting huge packet loss and I dont know why. (I just made a post on this and it was deleted and marked as spam....)
I've tried rebooting everything, Refreshing my Fibre IP. Restarting my PC. Nothing helps and it has been persistent for hours.
Can anyone help?

Run a quick traceroute to bbc.com and copy/paste the results here. You'll be surprised what info that will give us. Don't post a screenshot, they take ages to be moderated.

It's not what I thought it was. You're connected to the Manchester gateway and that's clearly not too far from where you are.
Go to ThinkBroadband and set up a BQM to monitor your connection for 24hrs. You'll need to set up a DDNS (no-ip is good - free trial will do) just to see what's happening when you experience this packet loss. You' ll also need to set your router to accept IGMP pings on the WAN.

John you're not alone:

Vodafone online support just assured me they're aware of the issue and are working to fix it. Given that I didn't get any kind of reference to follow up on, or eta, I'm not sure I believe them...

Yep, ok, looks like it’s not only me then. If there’s any advice anyone can give me on how to temporarily get round the issue please let me know. I pay for a VPN, but when I tried using it, it made things worse.

The Vodafone routes via LonAP are definitely flapping from time-to-time - which is one of the paths I'm seeing issues on, albeit not games/Blizzard related - you see the route move over to Level3 instead.
But I am also seeing packet loss from the Vodafone gateway (90.247.192.1 in my case) onwards.
I note that the OP's traces also go via LonAP.

Running some more tests, for me, the problem is specific to anything that goes via LonAP - not Blizzard specific.
Common router on the Vodafone side is 63.130.172.41, next hop after the Vodafone gateway - anything there on out, that goes via LonAP, sees packet loss.
... I'm not a gamer, but noticed the problem trying to reach something work related, that goes via LonAP.

Me too, just spent ages with Wifi experts showed them the tracerts and the 63.130.172.41 packet issues, wish I'd read this thread first as they got me to factory reset the router which has cleared all the mac filtering and names I had set up in the Wifi settings....I'm waiting to speak to them again
