Hi all

 

I'm considering getting Vodafone broadband but need to know if the router allows IPv6. Can anyone please confirm whether or not it can?

 

I called Vodafone and got a very mudded answer about one static IP address, which is not what I was asking about. I've tweeted too, but no reply yet.

Vodafone broadband doesn't use IPv6. The response you got from support should tell you all you need to know about whether you should join or not.

The following tweet from VodafoneUK suggests that, after enabling IPv6 (LAN side) in the router settings, one could DM (direct message?) VodafoneUK, presumably to complete the process of enabling IPv6: https://twitter.com/vodafoneuk/status/1419683557023301633

Can anyone confirm this?

Based on the tweet response I got from Vodafone, the service does not support IPv6.
