Hi Vodafone Community,
My proposed full fibre upgrade is due to be installed soon. Though, I suspect it will not go ahead because the engineers will have to dig up my neighbour’s rented property to connect it.
Is there a way to find out if I have a Wayleave Agreement, signed by my neighbour’s landlord, for a full fibre installation?
Thanks,
A

Hi Cynric,
While that link is the best CityFibre can offer, in pure desperation, I decided to follow their suggestions to the letter.
Which was:
“… Please contact your broadband provider directly for support. “
So I sent a complaint to Vodafone, stating there isn’t an explanation of how to get a Wayleave Agreement in place before CityFibre engineers turn up to install full-fibre.
Their response:
“We've now looked into this and would request you to place another upgrade order by calling 03333040191 from a non-registered Vodafone number. Once the order is placed, our team will be contact with City fibre and City fibre will send you and email with an attachment with the wayleave agreement. They will also direct you on the email what process you need to follow and respond back. ”
So, what I gather from that is, I needed to have contacted Vodafone earlier so they could forewarn CityFibre I would need the special “Wayleave Agreement” emails to be sent me, rather than the “standard install” correspondences.
Fingers crossed this works out…
Thanks again,
A
P.S. Whether this can be achieved without resorting to a complaint, I don’t know. Though, I hope, this information may help someone in the same situation. Or, at the very least, help Vodafone to improve there communication around this issue.
