Guys,
On the principle one doesn't join a forum unless you are having problems. Yeah, problems. I joined here and apart from finding the whole thing a bit over designed with poor font, text/page contrast et al I now have Forum related question....
"How the hell do I log out of this forum having got in?"
I notice that at the top of the page I have what is best described as a little "head and shoulder" symbol. Everywhere else on the web this little symbol, when clicked allows me to log out of whatever I'm logged into. Here, when I click on this little symbol my page locks up, I loose the vertical scroll bar and my browser gets stuffed and refuses to go on. Seems clicking on this symbol stuffs my browser off into the weeds.
I can only escape this by clicking on the little magnifier to the left of the head and shoulder symbol then using the browser's back keys return to the page I was on. Yep, not impressed.
For the clever people I'm using Linux Ubuntu 20.?? because Windows 10 does my head in and pushes my stress levels way beyond a safe place. Seems the Windows 11 tester has also condemned my laptop as having at the very least the wrong sort of i5 processor. Yeah! Who knew? I am using the current version of Firefox because I hated Explorer and never went back.
Another point being if I use the ENTER key my cursor goes off the bottom of this little test window. Having just used bold I might in future use this to make what I write here visible to me. Yep It'll have to be use bold from now on on this site.

If you click the icon for your name next to the search box, the bottom option is "Sign out".

How odd, I've just tried clicking on that icon, and it's done exactly the same to me, and I'm using Edge on Windows 10. Must just be a poor bit of code on Vodafone's part.
Edit: If you press F5 to refresh the page it gets you back.

Sorry guys. No coconut.
I don't have my name next to the little guy at the top right next to the searcher and for the record just tried on my Amazon Fire tablet where I'm using Chrome. Same result. Clicking on the little guy simply locks up the browser tab on my Chrome.
Think I'm having a back week (already).

No, the icon I am talking about is the letter next to the "Ask a question" search box. It's probably got a red 0 on it.
Once the picture has been moderated, it will be clear.
Edit: When you click the little man, it should take you to https://assets.vodafone.co.uk/modals/personal-login-ws2/,
and occasionally does, but most times it just doesn't get there.

What?? I've got a "Z" with little numbers in it. That's how I access the logout?
Who would have thought?
How would I know?
Best tell my energy provider and a couple of other sites including Screwfix they've got it all wrong. They need a big "Z"
So thank you for the help. A result but I think this site design needs a bit of work. Its a bit pants.

I'm sorry to hear you're having a little difficulty logging out of your account @scwalkl. The 'big Z' would be where a profile pic/avatar can be displayed and is a link to your profile letting you log out. If you've not uploaded a picture, or selected anything specific, a letter is added. In your case this is a Z, apologies for any confusion.
