No IP Address From Router

Our vodafone router keeps stopping issuing IP addresses. I cannot remember the password for the router (oops) and the link on the website doesn't work

Any advice please?

Hi @thegodplato

My apologies if you've already looked at the two below links.

If your still stuck then please do contact Customer support via contact-us or the Vodafone Social Media Team from Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries  as they'll be able to help you.

I wish you all the best with this situation.

Unless you have the very latest model, the Vodafone router can only cope with a small number of simultaneous connections before it falls over.

I bought a £20 Xiaomi router and plugged it into the Ethernet port on the back. It's user interface is in Chinese which means you will need your phone to translate, but it is vastly better than the Vodafone one.

A more expensive option like a TP-Link will allow you to bin the Vodafone router entirely.
