Router password

So I got my new router today and logged in to change my user name and password but it will not let me set the password to what I want it to be, I use a lot of smart stuff at home and didn’t really want to have to go round and set it all up again, my old password had no uppercase or numbers in it. Is there anyway around this.?

The Vodafone broadband app has less stringent rules around setting the Wi-Fi password than the router itself. (8 rather than 12 characters minimum)

Not sure about the other requirements.

@G20NGR Do mean the router admin credentials or the WiFi ones? The admin credentials should not impact on your devices. Wired connections are not impacted at all.

Wi-Fi name and password, all my smart stuff is wireless 60 plus devices.!

@G20NGR Well it depends on the security protocol. But unless you had really short credential strings it should not be a problem.
