I've got intermittent issues with my mobile phone (Google Pixel 7 Pro). The phone will connect to the wifi but quite often the internet won't load. Most of the time a disconnect/re-connect to the wifi fixes this but on the odd occasion I'll have to do it 2-3 times before the internet comes back on. Never had any issues on other routers and all of my other devices seem to work fine, the only difference being here I'm connected via wifi 6. Interestingly my partner who has the regular Pixel 7 had the same issues a while back but has since been fine (also connected via wifi 6).
Any advice on what I should do? I've done the usual of restarting the router and phone. I've encountered the issue 1 meter away from the router so it's not a signal problem.

Hey @steslatt85 I hope you're doing well! If all other devices are able to connect to the router then this is unlikely to be an issue with the broadband. If you've checked your phone settings and everything is as it should be, it might be worth speaking directly with the manufacturer to see if this is a known issue and if they have a fix for it.

@steslatt85 The standard P7 has Wifi 6 and the Pro7 has WiFi 6E, which is different. If I remember correctly the VF router does not have WiFi 6E. It may be worth trying to get the Pro 7 to step down to WiFi 6. Also, depending on the VF router and its firmware, if you can split the WiFi 2.5 and 5 settings that may help.

All three have WiFi 6E. An IT colleague suggested it could be a certain channel that's not connected to the internet so I'll try and check other channels.

@steslatt85 OK, the review that I read must have been poorly done.

IMHO I would use a independent Access Point or more , to get decent coverage around the whole property (as I do).
There are many who make dedicated AP,
I prefer Mikrotik (EU company and you can configure literally anything on their products, decent price).
cAP ax offers WIFi6.
There are others, Aruba, Cisco, Netger etc.
If the UltraHub offers PoE Out on some of the Ethernet port it could be and easy solution.
