What is an eSIM?
An eSIM isn't a physical SIM card, so you don’t have to worry about inserting it into your phone/ device or swapping it with other SIMs. eSIM technology is popping up in a few phones now, as well as some smart devices.
You can find out more information here: https://www.vodafone.co.uk/help-and-information/esim
How do I activate and set up a device with an eSIM?
If you’ve received a replacement Apple Watch, you can activate your service using My Vodafone
You’ll receive an email when it’s completed, at which point you can set up your new device
What’s an EID?
If you have a device that uses an embedded SIM (eSIM), like an Apple Watch, the EID is the serial number that’s attached to it. It can generally be found in the About section of your device settings.
You’ll need to provide this when you want to activate or set up a replacement device to work on our network.
