I am running an MC888 Ultra giga cube and am attempting to use the Fritz Repeater 600 to extend the range of the wifi network.
Following these[1] instructions the "Deplying Mesh Network" step times out. I have also attempted to connect the repeater "manually" following these[2] instructions to no avail (the repeater fails to connect).
My question is: are there any known compatibility issues between these two devices and if not is there any support that can be offered?

1. Move the new Mesh device close to current device.
(If new Mesh device is set already, please reset it to factory settings.)
2. Long press the WPS button on the new Mesh device until the indicator light (or Wi-Fi indicator light) flashes quickly.
3. Click "Start Deploy" button to deploy Mesh network.
