Hi. Thanks in advance for helping
I am looking to get a 5G router for my house. It needs to be on Vodafone as they are the only network in my area with 5G. I have been onto Vodafone about their 5G Gigacube but they are adamant that i have to have a gigacube plan with them for it to work. My plan was to get a sim only mobile plan with unlimited data which is £20 a month rather than the £60 they want for the gigacube version.
does anyone know if this is true or can I just put any vodafone sim into the router
if this isnt the case what is the best (not too expensive) 5G router to go for?
Thanks

You might be better asking this in another part of the forum.
Mobile Broadband - Community home (vodafone.co.uk)
I suspect the posters there will have more idea of what you are asking about.
I will just say, that the inexpensive SIM only deals seem to limit the data throughput, unless they are specifically designed for data use.
