Hi,

does anyone use a network monitoring app?
My neighbours are reporting connectivity issues, and it would be good to have some evidence rather than anecdotes.

When you say network monitoring do you mean Wi-Fi or the actual broadband?

Assuming you mean the broadband, just what kind of issues are they?

Are they on FTTC or FTTP? Presumably they are on Vodafone, just what ISP do you use?

Actual broadband.

Appears like the signal is dropping. Work has been done in the area of the fibre cable. (BT digging up the road along the same route as CityFibre!)

The best thing would be to set up a Broadband Quality Monitor | thinkbroadband

They will need to allow respond to ping in their router, and if the line does drop and get a new I.P. address  they will need to update the monitor.

Thanks.

I'll give it a go
