We've been switched to digital voice recently and have had nothing but trouble with the landline phone since. When you pick up the phone, there's a couple second lag before the dial tone is played. If you enter a number and then press call, the first one or two digits are not sent, resulting in a failed dial. Sometimes the lag until dial tone is heard is 30 seconds or more.
People calling the landline can hear a ringing tone but the phone doesn't always ring. I'm assuming the lag is causing this.
If I reset the router, it fixes for a short while. Still not as responsive as the old analogue line but useable for a few hours. Vodafone looking into it, so far all they have suggested is use a paperclip to reset the router 👍🏼
