Line cord error

I have had landline and broadband with vodafone for over 2 years with no issues until this week. Broadband kept dropping at the beginning of the week, but seems to have resolved itself - think it may be due to the heavy rain we have had recently.

Landline has not been working since the beginning of the week. Message on the phone is 'Line Cord Error'. There is no dial tone. If I try to ring from my mobile, it dials in, but I cannot pick up the call on the landline phone (no notification of incoming call).  I have 3 phones in the house, and none are working

Before I reach out to chat, I thought I would seek advice here

You haven't said if you are still on the PSTN (phones connected to BT sockets) or digital voice (phones connected via the router) so which is it?

Also, are you using DECT phones?

Sorry, I'm on PSTN and using DECT phones.

Also I have removed the ADSL filter, and plugged just the phone into the socket with no success

In that case, if there is no obvious problem with the phone cable from the base unit, it sounds like there is a break in the copper cable from the exchange to your local cabinet. Report it to Vodafone.
