Ok. Seems this is an issue. I have had no landline and just replaced my phone. The gigafast was set up and the hub has 2 phone connections. I kept my number and connected the new phone with the filter and a bt to rj11? Nothing. Binatone idect phone.
The live chat stated it was plug and play. I left virgin as a result of terrible communication and bad service. I am really getting frustrated that Vodafone seem to be unable to offer helpful advice. Situation is I have now forked out for a phone that doesn't work, and I have a landline number with vodafone that is useless. Any suggestions out there? It should be simple??

It should just be a BT to RJ11,adapter. There is no filter.
Was an adapter supplied or did you buy one?

I bought the adaptor. The Vodafone kit came with filter. With or without it doesn't work.

I suspect not all BT to RJ45 connectors are the same, the one we used to recommend from Amazon are out of stock at the moment. Did you get it online? Do you have a link?
It is of course possible that Vodafone have not enabled the line properly.
