I’m having FTTP installed/activated on the 24th of Feb (PRO II with 4g backup) and having helped a elderly neighbour 6 months ago with her digital voice problem I want to preempt any possible problems with my landline by asking you kind people a few questions.
Firstly a bit of info….
FTTP for me is an upgrade and I was on FTTC with Vodafone already. I’ve asked to keep my number, so a simple switch I hope.
Is it correct from many of the posts here that in most cases plugging your current landline into the router should work just fine but in some cases a adapter like the link below should sort out and issues.

If problems persist and new equipment has been tried is it safe to say it would likely be a provisioning issue?
I’ll order one of those cables today just in case. I have this current hand set (linked below). But I think these handsets were a donation from the neighbour who ended up replacing her phones because of the issues I mentioned above. Her problem was at the exchange so it possible that they will work fine with digital voice.
I’m thinking about this as an update (link below). I can’t see DECT mentioned but do you guy think this would work. Do any of you have these handsets working?

I know I’m regurgitating old topics but I would appreciate any feedback on people who have the handsets mentioned and if they had any issues
