I have a massive problem with vodafone currently. I have two lines into my house and two broadband packages on them. Last week I phoned vodafone about my account payments as they looked to be incorrect and someone happened to say my line was going to be cut off?!! I was really shocked and they couldn't understand why that was either from their end as I have only received a new router box in the last 3 or 4 weeks and agreed a new price on that line. So as far as I was concerned the line is active and i had never asked for it to be switched off.
The advisor said not to worry they would sort it so it was not goign to be turned off.
I called again yesterday to speak to vodafone adn was again assured my line would not be switched off.
Today however the line is off and the broadband and now apparently i have lost my phone number and broadband connection in the green openreach box.
I am so angry this was totally an inhouse error by someone in the vodafone organisation. I never asked for my line to be switched off. Our payments are made upfront and have alwasy been paid by DD with no problems.
Furthermore this is my business line so now my customers can't get thro8gh to me on the phone and all my company literature and vehicles have this phone number printed on them which now apparently is no longer my phone number throuygh no fault of my own.
What can i do about jhtois please? Vodafone man on phone abroad somewhere basically says i have to take a new line coontract which could take 14 days. I may not get my same phone number and thats just tough.
Not happpy I am livid. This is my business, my life and I never asked for this line to be disconnnected. Someone somewhere in vodafone has not done their job properly which initiated this line cut off and the person i spoke to in birmingham on friday who said it would be ok as well, and the person i spoke to in the foreign call centre yesterday who said it was all ok. So why am i the one to suffer???
They seem to offer no solytion to this and wont let me speak to a manager.

I doubt you will get any reply from Vodafone on here. Best to raise a complaint.

I can't believe I have just read this.. they have just done the EXACT same thing to me. I have a new business due to open on Monday and I have 1200 stationary with my business number on and no number now. And to add insult to injury they have ceased the phone number so I cant even get it transferred to another company. Did you manage to get a resolution?
