Actually that's not true anymore. Call Diversion,Call Waiting and anonymous call baring are available. Voicemail is not available. You do not have to order the calling features but here are the codes.
*21*phonenumber# Divert all calls
#21# to cancel diverts
*#21# to check
61 and 67 are to divert calls when busy or no answer #61# and #67# cancels diverts.
For anonymous Call baring dial *227# to cancel dial #227#
Call Waiting is *43# to switch on and #43# to switch off.
Calling features have been available since beginning of this year. They work on my digital voice line. I left Vodafone because they didn't offer calling features and I came back when someone confirmed they work.
When it comes to 1471, you cannot return the call anymore it just tells you the phone number and time & date.

Can I ask just where you heard that?
I don't believe they are supposed to be working. (unless there has been a recent change of policy)
It will be interesting if anyone else can confirm they work for them.
Thanks for the list of short codes, saves people having to search for them.

Hi I made a complaint sending it to the CEO's email round the time my contract was ending and asking to provide the basics as it made no sense moving from PSTN to a new modern service that lacked the basics of PSTN, I know it was a bit drastic sending it there but I received an email sometime around last Christmas from someone telling me that they will be available. Indeed they are! I too thought I may not supposed to have them but it did make me come back and become a Vodafone Broadband customer.
Previously when you dialled the codes you would get the tone that sounded like the busy tone but one tone shorter, dialling 1571 or a wrong number on the previous service I had made that wrong number sound but dialling 1571 or a wrong number on the service I have now just gives me a long unobtainable tone. It's definitely a different platform.
But the fact that the calling features were always there and not offered is weird one. I would never have come back otherwise.

Have had Vodafone Digital Voice for 2 weeks now (FTTC) and wanted to turn off Call Waiting, but #43# just produces an unobtainable tone.

That's as may be, but as I said #43# just produces an unobtainable tone.

Try *#43# see what happens (should give you your call waiting status).

Thanks, but also only produces an unobtainable tone.
