MU5001 ethernet capability

I've tried to connect the hotspot to other devices to provide a wired connection using an RJ45 adapter in the USB C port, but no internet is received.

Is this a setting with the MU5001 that restricts ethernet connection? Can Vodafone supply a model with the ethernet port exposed?

@brazier1982 Looking at the manual it looks like you will need to make one of your LAN PCs act as a bridge for the MU5001 and by doing so share it's connectivity. I believe that the kind of RJ45<>USB-C hardware connection requires the appropriate drivers to work, which is why I think a PC is probably the best way to go.

Did you every try connecting the MU5001 to the router USB port or are you in a situation away from a router?

Thanks for the reply, I didn't see the notification for it.

I do not have a PC that will allow me to do this, just my work laptop which is locked down by admin.  I do not have a hardline to use, I rely on the MU5001 for my sole internet access at home.
