Mobile signal in house very poor (RH8)

Despite several lengthy calls with Customer Service the call quality is awful. But everytime they try something the next call (test call) works fine. Wifi calling only seems to work with other mobiles, so any large business that calls like a bank, pension, insurance, can't hear me at all, I'm basically hanging out a window to get a tiny signal. Is there anything else that could help like a booster or aerial, or should i just try moving to EE?

The very basis of WiFi-calling is that you can use your phone as normal - whether that is a text message, incoming call from a landline or outgoing call to a non-smartphone user. You may be confused with app-based "calls" which do indeed only work between users of that specific app.

EE's network may well be be more reliable on a broad national basis, but there will always be local differences. You should choose the best overall network for all the areas you frequent, and allow WiFi-calling to cover any specific indoor problems.
