I have had a Vodafone router for a number of years and it has always used ipaddresses in range 192.168.1.xx . I could see what addresses where attached by going to the web page and under WIFI there they were.
I recently needed to know the allocated ipaddress of a raspberry pi and went searching and found no ipaddresses listed at all!
Using ipconfig and arp -a on my windows laptop I discovered that the router is now allocating ipaddresse in the range 192.168.87.xxx .
They all work fine but why has this happened and why are they not being shown on the web page?
Solved! Go to best answer.

@AlansRouter To be honest, I guessed because it contained the number 87. I don't have a nest device but it's quite likely another reader on this forum will have an idea.

@AlansRouter Have you changed your router? Go into the network settings and see if the guest as well as the usual WiFi are on, and see what the IP ranges are for each. I'm guessing that the guest WiFi is on.

I have not changed the router, neither have I changed any settings on the router. I am unable to find any mention of a "Guest" network. There is mention of a wifi2 network which is not activated. It seems that if it was it would use 192.168.5.xx.
Incidentally I tried pinging the various devices on my network using the Router website and none of them were reachable.
The version of firmware is given as:
Firmware-Version: 19.4.0551-3261143
Productname: Vodafone Wi-Fi Hub
Should I contact Vodafone and get a new router?

@AlansRouter On your pc load Angry IP, https://angryip.org/ (Mods: this is a safe tool) and scan your LAN for the addresses. You can (could) scan 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.87.254 in one go by adjusting the "IP Range" setting.
Thanks for looking at WiFi2, which was called "guest" on earlier routers. What IP ranges does your router say it is serving in DHCP? If it's still saying 192.168.1.0/24 then there may (and this would be odd) be another device on your network also providing DHCP. The Angry IP can scan for DHCP servers, go to Tools > Preferences > Ports Tab and add Port 67.

I have Angry ipscanner and it deaults to scanning 192.168.87.xx . so it is getting that from somewhere.
I added port 67 and got no additional output.
Below is a suppary of what I got using Angry ipscanner, arp -a command, Vodafone router.

@AlansRouter Also, the Apple thing on .87 , you say you're not sure of it. Can you find it and turn it off and see what happens?

@AlansRouter Hmmm, while we wait for the pictures to be moderated, what happens if you turn off IPv6?
By any chance can you connect to 192.168.87.1 using a browser?

I think you have got it! That is a link asking me to download the google home app ie my Google Nest which I use to extend the router to the farther reaches of my house and on to the patio. So it must be allocating its own ipaddresses even though the network name and password are the same. It is not telling the network anything about what it is doing and so I have effectively set up two networks! Perhaps there is some setup of the Google Nest I am missing.
