S21 Ultra Poor Signal

Hi there.

I bought 2 x S21 Ultra devices direct from Samsung.

Both have a much weaker reception coverage than the 2 devices I recycled (Note 8 and Huawei P30 Pro).

Have done the usual systems changes, cache clearing, new SIM, reset network settings etc.

Samsung have been as helpful as a chocolate tea cup.

Vodafone Engineers and Directors office have confirmed networks working as expected.

I have raised a chargeback through my bank due to faulty devices (Samsung insisting on receiving devices back and will then replace but that could mean up to 10 weeks without mobile devices which is not happening.) Samsung's other quality response was that I should spend £2350 on two new S21 Ultras and then send these two back for refund.

Any ideas folks? Or do I just accept it, send the devices back and order from another (better quality) manufacturer?

Thanks

Unfortunately I have come across a few thread's on the eu Samsung Community Forum where people are experiencing issues on their Samsung Galaxy s21 phone's as to signal strengths.

My son uses this model of Samsung phone and signal is good on it so I don't think it's a widespread issue.

Samsung have Samsung Experience Store's and Samsung Service Centres and Doorstep Repair Service that you could consider @piperdog123

Samsung Service-Centre.

In your Samsung Members App under GetHelp Section there is a diagnostic toggle to check various parts of the phone with network being one. Can you try this please.

When Vodafone supply Samsung phone's then they are responsible for supporting the owner under the 2 year Limited Manufacturing Warranty and under Consumer Rights Act 2015 , however Samsung would want to help too.

Consumer-rights-act-2015.

edit as I then noted you've purchased the phone's direct from Samsung. My Apologies. 😳

As Samsung supplied the phone's then they will want the phone's back if you've purchased them via the Samsung Online Shop to refund them, and then for you to raise a new sale.

I know that's not sounding fair and some I appreciate don't have the disposable income to create a new order straight away to then wait for a refund. 😒

I've sent a phone back to them before and they do usually refund pretty fast.

Samsung arrange dpd to collect.

Take time and date stamped pictures of the phone with one of them turned On to prove their aesthetic condition.

Include a note in the box to fully explain the issue along with the Returns Form that should have come originally.

I wish you all the best with this.
