URGENT, we cannot use our credit card terminal we have no connection , the BOI technician has asked are you electronic ports 16,000 to 16, 020 open , please respond immediately, as we cannot trade without our credit card machine

Hey @optique I can certainly appreciate how urgent this is. In order to check this out you will need to speak to the dedicated Tech team by calling 191 free from a Vodafone Pay monthly mobile, or 03333 040 191 from any other UK phone (standard charges apply).

What type of SIM are you using? If it's a pay go or pay monthly phone plan SIM then those ports would likely be closed and as Vodafone use CGNAT you can't open ports manually. A data SIM doesn't use CGNAT and you should be able to obtain a dedicated IP address as well as open ports.
