Alexa Away mode not working

I have Vodafone calling setup with Alexa, which is handy sometimes when I can’t find my phone, want to make a quick call, or if I’m in a different room (have several Alexa devices)

However.
When I’m away from home Alexa still rings, even when I answer the call on my phone, and it’s driving my family mad. 

ive tried to enable Away mode, this doesn’t work. 
I don’t want to have to disable the feature every time I leave the house. 

Is there a fix for this please?

Thanks, it is similar however not sure the away feature was available when the post was written as it doesn’t mention it. As in the other post, only things I’ve found so far is to disable it Completely when I leave the house, not very practical.
