I've seen this elsewhere and I have already gone into WhatsApp settings and unticked the box that says it is permitted to share my phone number.  I'm hoping this will work, otherwise I shall not be using WhatsApp: I have already taken off my Facebook account from all my mobile devices, only use it on my laptop and as far as WhatsApp goes, I only really know of one person who likes to use it a lot but if I have any problems I'll definitely not be using it.
