I am writing to you from Bhasvic racing team to ask for your help in fundraising our Greenpower team. We are a team of college students aged 16-18 who study at Bhasvic college and have a passion for motorsport. Greenpower is a competition where students design and build an electric single seater to compete in endurance races across the UK. At Bhasvic we have two cars which we race in the F24+ category which is the highest category Greenpower does. We have been racing for a few years now but had to stop due to covid and are beginning to restart development now. Earlier this year, we raced at Goodwood with both our cars and placed 15th and 28th which wasn’t the result we were looking for but we have spotted areas to improve to climb the leader board.
We are asking for a sponsorship where we would display your company logo on our cars in return for any amount of money you can provide to help us improve the cars. Your funding will go towards new parts like; a new motor (£100), new steering mechanism (£200), reshaping the car body (£100-500) and transport to the events so we are able to race.
