why cant I contact vodafone either by telephone or online chat?

I tried on line chat and was told I would have to wait an hour and a half!   I tried to telephone and got no answer 3except that I was in a queue and they are exceptionally busy so may take a long time..... how does one access any help here?

Our team can get quite busy at times and I can understand your frustration at having to wait in a queue, I would recommend waiting in queue for your call or chat to be answered for assistance or try again later. Our apologies for the delay.
