While I know the above device was part of our broadband package at either very little or zero cost, using our plus as an Alexa in the kitchen was really useful, haven't been able to set up the Alexa side of it since it packed up last year, now I know why.
My Alexa was working fine until a few weeks ago when VF instructed me to reset the router and boosters because WiFi was dropping out. So they haven't ceased support, they've sabotaged it!
