It's a sad day for me and my technicolor tg589vac v1 router .
I decided to update to a wifi 6 router but funny how I feel sad for my old and trusted router that has never let me down. Saying that the latency is far better on the tg589 than the new router

It'll be interesting to see exactly what the latency improvement is. The difference in latency between the RT-AC86u and the GT-AX6000 was no more than 0.5ms at best!

Acording to the xbox . The latency was around 20 on the technicolor tg589vac v1 and the new dlink wifi6 router is at around 60/70

Wow that's a big difference.
If you have been using the tg589vac v1, how come you said you were very happy with the THG3000 on the other thread?

Sorry should have made it a bit more clear . The THG3000 is the main router on the ground floor . The edge router is on the first floor as a access point and the tg589vac is on the second floor as a access point . So I have swap the tg589vac for a wifi 6 DLink and the delay has gone from 20 to around 60/80 on anything connected to the DLink .

Thanks for the clarification, my OCD really plays up when I see something that "doesn't compute". 🤣
That is an unexpected extra delay, I wonder what is introducing it?

I also have a high latency on my uncapped fttp network
Adtran 854-v6 runs on the fibre heroes network around 1gb up and down but latency is around 60 to 80
My Vodafone thg3000g running on vodafone fttc download speed of around 65mb has a latency of around 20 . I took the Dlink router back off
