I signed up to 24 month contract gigafast 900 half price at £35 and after the 1year yep they put my price cost be extra 5 pounds. So now my contract is £40.04I rang them up about this as wanted to see if could extend my contract to new one as online ends up cheaper than my.previous contract they said no and his attude to me was it's only fiver , what the hell who says that. I've now looked again today and god it really annoys me they now doing same contract for £28 month that's £12 cheaper than I'm paying per month. It's such I Mickey take really is. I've only got 5 months left on my contract I really am not going with them again I'll be going somewhere else , where prices are locked In and better customer service . Only thing I will say there city fiber has been nearly flawless so have no grumbles there it's major fast and good. But they lost my custom at renewal.

Yea agree but how much disgusting when everyone already struggling etc .also other companies let you come out contract YOU DONT so you got people over barrel . Also most companies now lick the price with in your contract I can list many if you like , and if there is increase they let you terminate early without being penalised . When you sign up Vodafone never tell you assentials etc etc . Disgusting really and then got cheak make better deals online when got us no one saying you put up prices it's your conduct of a company policies where others don't do what you do. And on phone your all attitudes stink sane again you only say prices go up notnng about your attitudes or it's only fiver etc etc when people struggle already. Funny that you just want point out the proces go.up well address the where others don't.

Each ISP is slightly different, but many do have annual price increases and early exit penalties. The ones that do not do this tend to be more expensive.

You say more expensive your now same price as you don't change prices until got us lol lol I mean 28 pounds now you offer I'm having pay 40 it's basicly stuff the loyal ones but here you go new customers lol. You lost my custom even though Vodafone right with what they do morilly it's disgusting. There always deals from others if ring about however Vodafone are first company I've ever come across who not willing to re do contract that's a first for me. I know how all this works I used to technical support working one stream I dealt with Vodafone customers etc etc so I know how bad on phone Vodafone are and there not care attitude not ever was i.lile that in my job etc disgusting .

Most ISP's now have a price rise built into their contracts. Two that didn't, Sky and Now (yes, I know they are the same company) still put them up, but had to give their subscribers an opportunity to leave penalty free.
But, yes it is galling when new subscribers are paying less than those of us already here. (but we often got a subsidised price at the start)

Vodafone shouldnt be undercutting subscribers already in contract either should be same deals or more not less lol thsrs just taking the Mick that's why I'm so annoyed not only put it up to max in a cost of living crisis they now also undercut contracts to new customers that's a double whammy and totally unexceptable morilly yes fidafone can do that yes but good way to make old customers leave at renewal it's blaintly wrong. It's a double whammy.

The difference in price offered to new as opposed to existing customers is also seen in other industries, such as insurance. If you prefer a contract without annual increase expect to pay over £40 each month. A quick internet search will provide examples.

It has now been banned there.

@Jayach Being an old skeptic I'll wait until my insurance company demonstrates compliance. 😁
