Problems with Xbox and Open NAT

Had Vodafone for a while and has worked fine. all of a sudden I started getting problems on my Xbox about my NAT type being strict. Is there any way to change this, as playing is virtually impossible due to lag and bad connection issues. I tried bridging between my mesh system and router but still didn't work. Does anyone have any ideas?
