Vodafone gave me a static IP address whilst trying to resolve a GeforceNow* performance problem (remains unresolved). When I check the Geolocation of my IP address it shows me in Aston Abbotts, Buckinghamshire on one site, somewhere near Northampton on another and Coventry on yet another. I am actually on the South Coast in West Sussex. These checks have all been done at the same time.
Is Vodafone FFTP delivered over some kind of VPN? Nvidia did say that GeforceNow* doesn't like VPN's and might explain why it doesn't work for me
*In the past there has been some confusion about this but GeforceNow is a cloud gaming platform from Nvidia probably like Xbox Cloud Gaming from Microsoft.

I can imagine how frustrating it must be to have your gaming performance issues unresolved and your location showing up all over the place. As for your question about Vodafone FFTP being delivered over a VPN, it's possible. I know that GeforceNow doesn't like VPNs, which might explain why you're having problems with them. Have you tried using the IP geolocation API from https://apiip.net/? It's an API that can serve up the city where any IP is located. Maybe that will give you a better idea of where your IP is actually being routed through.

Thanks for your reply. my IP is indicated as being in the midlands (UK) in Sutton Coldfield but I am on the South coast near Portsmouth. Oddly enough I tried using a VPN (Avast) which only seems to impact on the Latency which is understandable.. I gave up on this a while ago as I don't believe Vodafone will do anything to improve GeforceNow streaming partly because they don't seem to understand what it is and the fact that everything else is working as expected.
City Fibre is being planted in my area now so that may be an option when the contract ends?
