I'm looking to see if Vodafone provide static ap addresses for home broadband.
If this is possible, how can I order, as the app doesn't offer this?
Also, if it can, does the broadband router all for port forwarding to either a DMZ address or separate network?
Many thanks

@Tinawiddess Did you search the forum, as I'm fairly sure that these questions have already been discussed?

Thank you, I've seen several but no specific way of requesting an ip address. The apps either mobile or desktop don't offer it and when performing an online chat doesn't recognise the question.
Any help would be appreciated on how I could request a static ip address?

@Tinawiddess Alternatively try calling on 191 free from a Vodafone mobile or 03333 040 191 from a different phone.

Once you have your broadband you'd need to call customer services and verbally request the static IP in accordance with the Your Price Plan document. The various routers do include DMZ functionality as far as I'm aware, but only regular port forwarding and not full redirection was supported last time I used a VF router.
Maybe an idea of what you want to do, rather than how you would like to do it would be helpful!?

Yes they do. It's free to order via https://vodafone.co.uk/bbservcd
AAnd yes, the vodafone router does have port forwarding and dmz, however that is easier with your own router.
