THG3000 as an access point or WiFi repeater

I've just received a THG3000 router from Vodafone, even though I said they really didn't need to bother sending one. I have absolutely no use for it as a router but wonder if I could turn it into a WiFi repeater or access point so I could use it to relay my wireless network over a greater distance?

My hopes aren't high, but if anyone knows of a way, I'd be keen to hear it.

No-one out there with any opinion or information on this?

A bit late replying.....but using the THG3000 as an extender worked for me

Without causing problems it shouldn't work.

As a pure repeater, it doesn't have the settings to enable it to receive and retransmit so that's out of the question.

Using it as an Access point it doesn't possess the settings to dumb it down fully.  There are ways you can kind of get it to work, but they are all a bodge, create unwanted subnets, and can cause issues with anything more complex than simple web browsing.
