In Jan 25, i upgraded (somewhat regrettably) from the THG3000 router to the UltraHub. Most of our home devices are new Apple and 6E capable except for the Sony TV /PS5 /Solar inverter Gateway/ Alarm System which remain legacy.
When the Ultra Hub was configured as a standard Main Wi-Fi only, every device connected to the Internet albeit with a few "laggy" video moments . I turned on the Ultra Hub Compatibility Mode to moved my 6e capable phones and computers to this -premium SSID. The 6E devices worked OK.
The TV, Solar Cloud, PS5 and Alarm System remained on the Main Wi-Fi but now failed to reach their respective internet servers. YTube worked on the TV but not Netflix. The Solar inverter was connected locally but would not reach its Cloud Service. I tried re-connecting multiple times but to no avail.
The only solution was to factory reset the UltraHub and return everything to Main Wi-Fi. Its obvious this is /was a routing issue with my Ultra Hub but what is the solution ? Why did this happen?
I will try activating the Compatibility Mode again but with a totally different password to see if that helps or the problem returns.
