WPS

Some devices I use require WPS to be switched off.
The new app won’t let me change WPS settings and the web access says the app is managing WPS.

How can I switch WPS off?
it’s an ultra router

@DJM1971  Use a PC browser to connect to the admin page on the router.

Admin site shows WPS controller is disabled

In that case. it presumably is already off.

I still don't understand why devices would care if it's on?

Some devices won’t connect if WPS is enabled.
One the ultra router the web admin doesn’t allow control of WPS which is set on by default. The app has no option to switch it off

What reason do you have for saying that? Is it that you can't connect some devices, so you are assuming WPS is the cause?

It’s permanently on in the ultra router. There’s no way to disable WPS either via the web admin page or via the App.
some devices require WPS to be off. Eg EV cars, some internet radios and cameras etc

@DJM1971 Then, if WPS is off according to the browser interface I have solved your initial question. Please mark my suggestion as the solution.

It’s not off it’s on. Web admin doesn’t allow switching. App has no option to switch off

The latest version of the app seems to have broken quite a lot.

I'm just wondering what kind of devices need WPS off?
