Hi,

On a pay as you go plan and am currently studying abroad, still in the EU.

Will my roaming plan end after four months? or if i go back home and then return will the four months start again?

The fair roaming policy is dependent on use, EU roaming is only intended for short term holiday use.  Before restricting service Vodafone will send a text message alert asking you to moderate your roaming use.  However, providing you return to the UK, you should be able to continue roaming when you next go abroad.

When you are going to be abroad for an extended period, it is recommended to get a SIM card for the country you are in.  You will need an unlocked phone to be able to do this.

If you go back home and then return, the four months should reset. you can use TM SIM for better roaming options abroad.
