Hi there. I hope everyone is well! I have a severe hearing impairment. I’m trying to set up an app that transcribes the spoken word in real time into transcription so I can follow phone calls..
but I have to forward my phone to a 0121 number for the transcription to work.
how do I do this? I’ve tried dialling ** 21* and it doesn’t seem to work..
also long shot but does anyone know the cost involved in forwarding all calls to that number.

This won't work @leannJ , you can only divert calls to UK number. If it was possible you would be paying the cost for making an international call for the divert plus the roaming charges, all very complicated.

So if you have a pay monthly account then you should be able to divert all calls to your 0121 (that’s the area code for Birmingham) number using: **21*0121xxxyyyy# then dialling it as a phone number.
If you’ve got a prepaid line, you can only divert calls to your voicemail service so the above wouldn’t work.
