Does the "Data Roaming Bar" only apply to blocking mobile data usage while abroad, or will it also block me from receiving inbound SMS/calls while abroad?
I'm going to the USA soon, and I don't want to pay the £7.39 daily charge (I'm a PAYM customer on basics). I'm aware that inbound SMS and calls doesn't count towards the £7.39, so I want to make sure I don't accidentally make any outgoing calls/SMS and don't use any mobile data (by disabling it via Vodafone, as well as via my phone settings). I know there are bars for blocking outgoing calls and SMS while roaming, but I don't understand if the "Data Roaming Bar" is for blocking mobile data (IE for accessing the internet abroad), which I want it to, or if it will block all cellular service, thus blocking me from receiving SMS and phone calls, which I wouldn't want.
Thank you!
